I begin by thanking the Virginia writer Richard Kelly Hoskins for introducing me to some measure of this subject.
Times have changed. The phrase, “the Christian West” is outdated. It is no longer true. Today, we are going to learn how our old, church-based society became slowly converted to Hinduism, in ways that are sometimes not so easy to see. But once we’ve noticed them, we can recognize them everywhere. There are obvious signs too. Western pop-stars have been encouraging their followers to take up Transcendental Meditation, Krishna Consciousness and Satanism for decades. Yoga, the deepest form of Hindu meditation, has become wildly popular. But allow me to show you two or three other symptoms of Hinduism which may evade immediate notice, as to their depth of influence on society.
Karma, a word increasingly popular today, is the Hindu term for “wrongful behavior,” or “guilt.” It has the connotation that the evil we do today will come back to affect us in the future. This is not a harmless concept, as we shall see. It conveys the notion, first, that we can manage our guilt. It is also extremely political, deceiving us to believe that we need not concern ourselves too much with the guilt of evil leaders, because they will essentially punish themselves! How handy that has proved for our billionaire masters and their political underlings.
The political power of guilt. Only Jesus Christ, Who has given His life for us on the cross, can remove our guilt and He will only do that for those who practice His religion exclusively. We cannot remove it from ourselves, through meditation or other behavior. This guilt comes from breaking God’s rules and it accumulates in us until Christ removes it. Now here’s the catch. We experience guilt as a feeling. Because it is an unseen feeling, others can blame us for things we didn’t do wrong and we may believe them, because of the internal guilt we already feel. This is what I call false guilt. We are constantly bombarded with false guilt by the establishment, to coerce our thoughts and behavior toward insane projects. Any guilt we may feel about “destroying the earth” by heating our homes and driving our cars is false guilt, enabled by real guilt deep inside us. Carbon tax, for example, is collected by false guilt, because of real guilt we have accumulated during our lives. Our whole society is guilty of breaking God’s Laws in one way or another, so now that Christianity has been totally undermined, all of us can be herded around by false guilt. It’s a complicated problem with a simple solution. We must humbly ask Christ to remove our guilt. Now, can we see how deadly karma is for supposedly free societies? It is the establishment which pushes and controls this invisible power.
Guilt vs. shame. In 1946, American anthropologist Ruth Benedict wrote The Chrysanthemum and the Sword. On pages 222 and 223, Benedict explains that, psychologically, there are two types of cultures. Caucasian cultures operate by guilt, whereas others operate by shame. Guilt is an internal concept. It is the indwelling spirit God gave us fearing His punishment for our wrongs. Shame, on the other hand, is an external concept. It is the fear of what others may think of us, if they disapprove of our behavior. To quote Ms. Benedict, from page 223: “True shame cultures rely on external sanctions for good behavior, not, as true guilt cultures do, on an internalized conviction of sin.” How is this political? Well, if I can read Ruth Benedict’s book, others can too. So sometimes other peoples use their knowledge of our invisible guilt to manipulate our behavior in their favor. Guilt is very dangerous. Our whole society is loaded with it and that opens us up to external, political control, through the use of false guilt. Now let’s look at a second aspect of Hindu culture which has quietly permeated our lives.
Dharma is the Hindu word for tolerance, a word we hear a lot about in our multicultural society today. This concept means that we can supposedly live and believe as we want, as long as we accept others’ total right to live their way. It is this tolerance which allowed Satanism and other exotic practices to come out into the open. In India there are dharma-matras, a class which punishes anyone who fails to use dharma. These are roughly equivalent to our courts and human rights tribunals. India also has people called thugees, from which our word “thug” derives. Thugees attack and harm people who do not practice dharma. These strike me as being a lot like some violent political groups in modern society. Once dharma is accepted by the government and enforced, it opens the door to limitless social change by the establishment. Any opposition to dharma also increases our false guilt, which enables the establishment to crack down on us even harder. As such, most real protest has been eliminated by increasingly oppressive governments.
Human rights. Christianity is considerably defined by what we do not tolerate–which is anything the Bible defines as sin. In the true Christian society to come, where our Constitution will be the Bible, any thought, word, or behavior not defined by God as a sin will be a Christian human right. For this reason smoking, moderate drinking and speaking politely-but-freely are not sins, because they are not listed as such in the Bible.
Secularism. In India, there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of different beliefs and “gods.” But all the people are called Hindus, because they all believe in karma and dharma. In other words, India is a secular society. Now we have become the same. Our unity in Christ has momentarily vanished and we have become a cluster of increasingly poorer, disorganized slaves, who often don’t understand each other at all. Like India, we have become a collection of dissimilar religions and beliefs, largely owing to recent waves of immigration. But we use dharma to tolerate even the most outlandish sins, conscious that failure to do so will increase our karma. And if we fail to live this way, there are dharma-matras and thugees to force us into line.
The shining ones. In Indian society, the elite Brahmin caste, whose members refer to themselves as “the shining ones,” is the top of the social heap. They are considered to be the closest thing to God in human form. Thy are “God’s chosen people” in that land. Interestingly, they practice a totally different religion than the remainder of the people. More interesting still, thousands of Western preachers tell us we have a “God’s chosen people” here, who also practice a different religion. The transformation away from Christ is now totally complete and the church has assisted in that change. Our secular society is a Hindu society.
The icing on the cake. Like India, we now have hordes of destitute people living, even defecating, on the streets and like India, most just ignore them and walk on by.
Hinduism is the opposite of Christianity–and that’s how we now live. It is a Third World system used to convert the West into a destitute dictatorship run by the rich. We can never please God by believing in these things. One last word about Yoga. Exercise is good for you. It’s what you focus on that makes the difference. If you think about the words of Christ and His apostles while doing yoga, you’ll be fine.
Soft power. Karma, dharma, secularism and other aspects of Hindu religion, coupled with an anti-Christian media, constitute what political scientists call “soft power.” Soft power is a mass, psychological means of conquering Western societies through subtle brainwashing, to remodel them into a subservient, Third World pattern.
Where do we go from here? The Bible tells us that our civilization will get wickeder and wickeder and then it will be destroyed by God, because there is nothing Christian about our way of life anymore. Nonetheless, the last thing we need to do is join some extremist group, or even tell anybody off. God is going to handle the coming, catastrophic change Himself. The rebuilding of society will later be done by those of our people who return to Christ, right at home. This is the end of the Age of the Church, which precedes the coming of Christ’s Kingdom on the earth, where all these hassles will be straightened out and we’ll get a thousand years of justice, prosperity and peace.
To learn more about this transition, I encourage you to read my book, The Death and Resurrection of the West Foretold in Prophecy. To find our how to get your guilt removed and receive the Holy Spirit, right at home, I recommend my little book with a long title, Do-it-Yourself Home Christianity: How to Please God and Receive His Help Without Preachers, Churches or Money. Both books are available on this website as either real books, or ebooks. You can read the introductory sections for free.
